Finger Cots 指套
1) Discovery of rubber and vulcanization 橡膠和硫化技術的發現:
The word ‘Rubber” was named by Joseph Priestly, a Chemist in England in 1770, after he accidentally rubbed of
pencil marks with coagulated rubber. Natural Rubber (Latex) biggest breakthrough was through the Vulcanization
process, which was discovered by Charles Goodyear in 1839. Vulcanization is a process which involves heating
rubber with Sulphur, where the sulphur acts to retain and improve the rubber elasticity.
“橡膠”這個詞在 1770 年首先被英國化學家約瑟夫•普利斯特命名,他無意之中用凝固的橡膠擦去了鉛筆
筆跡。1839 年查理斯•固異特發現了硫化技術,天然橡膠(乳膠)實現了最大的突破。
硫化過程是通過給橡膠加熱使之硫化的方法。經過硫化,提高了橡膠的彈性。
2) Vulcanization 硫化技術的歷程:

3) Why is there powder in natural rubber finger cot 為什麼天然橡膠指套裡帶粉末?
